Announcing the NEWEST release in the Black Scarlet SagaWhite Angel...
After a gargoyle warlord murders a king, conquers his castle and condemns his tigers, a symbol of the kingdom, to death in a gladiator arena, he next sets his sights on Chen and her warrior women.

Rather than trying to escape, Chen turns the tables on him and infiltrates the mountaintop castle even though it's defended by thousands of gargoyles. With only a hundred warrior women with her behind enemy lines, Chen disrupts the castle's defenses by sowing confusion and chaos.

Aerylln, Chen's ally and heir to a magic sword, travels into the past seeking the help of the very king the gargoyle warlord has murdered. Yet what little hope they have seems destroyed when Tarlen, the sole surviving member of the king's family and the rightful heir to the castle, is run through with a gargoyle's lance.

Now, trapped in a gargoyle-controlled fortress, Chen has her back to the wall making her doubly dangerous. When she and her warrior women roar in desperate defiance, the very stones of the castle begin to shake, and soon the warlord will find himself quaking as well.

The fantasy series, the Black Scarlet Saga, will include nine novels, three of which are now available, Black Crystal,  Black Scarlet, and White Angel. It’s a story about independent, strong-willed warrior women striving to triumph over the forces of evil. And though trained in the arts of war, their most powerful weapons are their willpower, determination and a willingness to endure great personal sacrifice. Some of the women are older and more experienced, while others are embarking on their very first quest. Yet they all share one thing, a refusal to submit to evil and a desperate desire to live free.

Black Crystal (Book 1)
After having been raised by her abusive uncle, Lord Daegal, a young warrior woman, Chen, finally sees a chance to break free.  Racing to her dying Aunt Glenitant, Chen inherits not only a black-crystal castle but her aunt's dark sword, a sentient creature who ends up being as much of a threat to Chen as Lord Daegal.

The warrior woman is aided by Aerylln, heir to her own magic sword, one that's also a sentient being.  But Chen's situation becomes even more precarious upon learning that the two swords are "half-sisters" locked in a blood feud that is centuries old.  When Lord Daegal lays siege to Chen's black-crystal castle, she struggles to defend the one place where she can be in control of her own life.  One woman, one way out, and one man standing between her and her freedom.

Black Scarlet (Book 2)
The warrior woman, Chen, goes to aid the dying Lord Stallington who wants to make Genevieve, a daughter who is both wise and brave, the next ruler of Skybrook Castle. Chen becomes furious upon learning that Genevieve’s brother, Rathlor, is scheming against his sister. Being the first-born male, Rathlor feels he should inherit even though he’s an incompetent bungler.

Pushing the region to the brink of civil war, a treacherous General Zarkahn tricks Rathlor into forging an alliance with a sadistic gargoyle warlord who believes that women should serve men as slaves. Eager to force Chen’s submission, Zarkahn kidnaps both the warrior woman’s baby and Genevieve. But rather than caving in, Chen once again becomes the dark knight, Black Scarlet, aided by two tigers, a mysterious rancher, Arandar, and a young woman named White Angel who holds the key to Arandar’s true identity.

Now, gripped with a terror she has never experienced before, Chen abandons all sense of self-restraint, and a mother’s wrath explodes.
